Sachin's dedication towards match not only saved a run but also saved the match. Sachin saved one run when Langeveldt tried to hit ball boundary ,at this moment South Africa needs 7 runs to win in 2 balls. But Tendulkar stopped the ball reaching boundary line with a terrific dive. Because of this dive by Sachin, India won first won day against South Africa by one day.

The Youngsters should learn lot from Sachin. Sachin at the age of 36 did not cared his body and did terrific effort to save a boundary, he almost saved the boundary from a few centimeters near boundary line.

South Africa won toss and invited India to bat first. India made 298/8 runs in 50 overs. In reply South Africa made 297/9 runs in 50 runs. Ravindra Jadeja Named man of the match for his excellent bowling performance with 2 wickets and 2 maidens by giving just 29 runs in 10 overs.
