Indian cricket selection committee replaced the out-of-form left-handed batsman Yuvraj Singh with Rohit Sharma in the 15-member squad for the third cricket Test against the West Indies in Mumbai from Nov 22. Expect Yuvraj's exit the rest of the team is unchanged.
Yuvraj just made 66 runs in 3 innings and the highest score is 25.
Rohit has performed consistently in the domestic circuit and scored 175 and 100 in Mumbai's first two games of the ongoing Ranji Trophy season against Railways and Rajasthan.
This is the tough decision taken by Selection committee on Yuvraj Singh. This is clearly giving bad signals to Yuvraj's test career.

South African batsman Herschelle Gibbs, who was banned for six months for his involvement in the 2000 match-fixing, could be interrogated by the Delhi police again but his lawyer Peter Whelan said the cricketer has already informed the Indian authorities all he knew in 2006.
Delhi police are waiting for a report on the authenticity of tape recordings of cellphone conversations that allegedly took place between Cronje and a London-based bookmaker, Sanjeev Chawla.

The actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi can expect a ministry from the Congress high command as a quid pro quo benefit for merging his Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress.
According to Congress sources, Chiru would be inducted into the Central Cabinet only after conclusion of the winter session of the Parliament. “More or less, it will happen in the new year,” they said.
After the 20-minute long meeting with Congress president, Chiranjeevi said she assured suitable posts for him and other PRP leaders.
He, however, said he did not demand any particular post for himself or the others. Sonia Gandhi told him that the discussion was on with regard to the responsibility to be given to him in the party.
Chiranjeevi said he discussed with her the political situation in Andhra Pradesh but the issue of cabinet expansion did not come up during the meeting.
PRP, which has 18 members in 294-member assembly, had merged with Congress party in August, providing the ruling party much needed strength in the face of revolt by legislators loyal to YSR Congress party chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.

Its good news for the people who registered Aadhaar cards. UIDAI, which issues Aadhaar cards, decided to inform residents about their numbers through e-mails and SMS, before sending it by post.
 |
| Registration Process of Aadhaar card |
At present, it takes months for people to receive the the unique Aadhaar number by post. The delay is mainly due to inability of the India Post to print and dispatch the UIDAI cards. At present, India Post prints about 1.5 lakh Aadhaar cards a day whereas the UIDAI enrolls over 10 lakh residents daily.
As per the UIDAI, 4 crore Aadhaar numbers are already ready, but they are not yet printed and distributed.
However, few employees of UIDAI didn't capture the Phone and Email details from residents while register their names. Reason is Phone and Email are not mandatory detail to enter into the system.
So, lets wait for the SMS.

Hours after the government made it clear that a debt recast like was done for Air India was not possible for Kingfisher, the airline's owner and liquor baron Vijay Mallya tweeted in the below manner.
"Is it Kingfisher's duty to fly on loss-making routes when state governments tax heavily? Or should we be financially prudent and fly profitably?"

Meanwhile, oil marketing companies - HPCL, IOC and BPCL - have denied extending credit line to the airline and asked it to pay for lifting jet fuel on a daily basis.
The airline has suffered a loss of Rs. 1,027 crore in 2010-11 and has a mounting debt of Rs. 7,057.08 crore.

Moody's Investors Service has changed its outlook for India's banking system to negative from stable. A "negative" outlook is one that is characterized by volatility and uncertain conditions. The outlook applies for the next 12-18 months.
As per Moody's Vice President, "India's economic momentum is slowing because of high inflation, monetary tightening, and rapidly rising interest rates. At the same time, concerns have emerged over the sustainability of the recovery in the US and Europe, and the rise in the borrowing program of the Indian government, which could drain funds away from the private credit market."
Moody's rates 15 commercial banks in India, which together account for about 66% of the system's total assets as of March 2011. The system is dominated by public-sector banks, which account for around 75 per cent of the market in asset terms.
